At Lake Whitney Veterans Center of Resources (VCR), we research, find, and build a network of services and support for veterans. We believe there can never be enough support for veterans. Our work includes helping veterans access essential support such as food, clothing, assistance with monthly bills, and transportation to medical facilities. We also assist with housing by working with partners like Endeavors to help veterans find safe and affordable living options.<\/p><\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In addition, our trained volunteers provide support by listening, helping veterans feel heard, and addressing emotional challenges. Meet the founders behind Lake Whitney Veterans Center of Resources (VCR)\u2014individuals committed to serving veterans with respect and purpose. Driven by compassion and respect, they built VCR to ensure every veteran has access to meaningful support.<\/p>

My husband is a veteran. E6 Staff Sergent U.S Army 101 Airbourne Division 326 Med. Served in Korea and Iraq during Desert Storm. Developed Discoid Lupis Erythematosus due to chemical exposure.<\/div>

Because of my stubbornness & determination he is now recognized by the VA as 100% disabled. Then I took that, did the paperwork, and got his Social Security disability.\u00a0<\/div>
