Committed to Every Veteran’s Needs
At Lake Whitney Veterans Center of Resources (VCR), we research, find, and build a network of services and support for veterans. We believe there can never be enough support for veterans. Every case is unique, and we treat each one individually.
To us, “resources” go beyond financial aid—they include food, clothing, housing, transportation, and emotional support. By connecting veterans with local, state, and national programs, we ensure that no veteran is left behind.

Individual Care for Every Circumstance
At VCR, we understand from experience that every veteran’s situation is different. That’s why each case is treated individually, based on its own needs and circumstances.
Our work includes helping veterans access essential support such as food, clothing, assistance with monthly bills, and transportation to medical facilities. We also assist with housing by working with partners like Endeavors to help veterans find safe and affordable living options.
In addition, our trained volunteers provide support by listening, helping veterans feel heard, and addressing emotional challenges. While we work with the VA, it is only one part of our network—we continuously seek out additional resources and partnerships that can enrich the lives of veterans.
